Who can join
Rackmuse is a secondhand-style discovery service for people aged 13 and older. You must be at least 13 to create or use an account. If you are 13–17, review these terms with a parent or guardian. Stylist applicants must be at least 18 and receive approval before publishing a storefront or looks. Account access does not automatically grant stylist or administrator access.
Do not create an account if you are under 13. If an under-13 account has already been created, stop using it and ask a parent or guardian to contact support@rackmuse.com for removal. Our age confirmations are self-declarations, not identity or age-verification services.
Your account and information
Use your own sign-in account and provide accurate information. Do not impersonate another person, share access to someone else’s account, or attempt to evade a restriction. Keep your Google or email account secure. The Privacy note explains how Rackmuse uses account details, uploaded images, and activity.
You can browse without enabling account features. We record the date and versions you acknowledge when you finish account setup. You can request account removal without accepting a new version of these terms.
Publishing secondhand style
Publish secondhand items and describe them honestly. Check listing links, item condition, material, prices, shipping, and availability. Label uncertain details rather than presenting them as verified facts. Mark sold items and disclose affiliate links. Do not publish someone’s private information, harassing or discriminatory content, unlawful material, or content you do not have permission to use.
You retain your rights to content you submit. By uploading or publishing it, you allow Rackmuse to store, resize, and display it to operate the service. Only publish images and text you own or have permission to share; a marketplace listing or import feature does not itself grant that permission. Clearly identify AI-generated outfit visualizations so they are not mistaken for photographs of the listed items.
Shopping and impact estimates
Rackmuse helps people discover styles; it does not sell the linked items or process purchases. Sellers and marketplaces control availability, prices, payments, shipping, returns, and disputes. Verify details on the seller’s page before buying. A listing may change or sell out after a look is published.
Eligible affiliate commissions belong to the stylist, not Rackmuse. Links must disclose that relationship. Environmental and ESG-related estimates are educational approximations based on available inputs and a stated methodology, not audited product certifications, guaranteed savings, or proof of a seller’s practices. See how we describe impact.
Safety, moderation, and removal
Use the report controls to flag misleading, unsafe, or inappropriate content. Rackmuse may hide content or suspend an account or storefront while reviewing an issue. Contact support to ask about a decision or request a review. Approval of a stylist is not a guarantee about every listing they publish.
Stylists can manage or remove their content in the studio. Full account removal is requested through Account & support. Deleting a database record does not instantly erase image files or backups; the retention explanation applies. Do not send passwords, payment details, or sensitive personal documents through reports or support forms.
Changes and help
Rackmuse is still being developed. Features may be unavailable or change. Important account-term changes will require a new acknowledgement before account features can be used. Questions about these terms, account access, content, or privacy can be sent to support@rackmuse.com.
